West Michigan Community Tennis and Premier Tennis Center
West Michigan Community Tennis (WMCT), a registered 501(c)3 committed to growing the game of tennis through meaningful outreach.
West Michigan Community Tennis (WMCT) was formed in early 2014 and consists of a group of West Michigan area residents with experiences as players, nationally renowned coaches, parents, patrons, and volunteers.
WMCT is using the benchmark that was established by the Greater Grand Rapids Tennis Patrons, whose focus since the early 60s has been to increase interest and participation in the sport of tennis and to bring tennis opportunities to the underserved in our community.

Our Goals
Developing youth and adult tennis players
Using physical and mental health education to enhance our athletes and members
Growth of Our Organization
In the fall of 2023, WMCT purchased Premier Tennis Center (formerly Premier Athletic and Tennis Club) to begin a new era of the organization.
WMCT’s goal is to establish a sustainable nonprofit tennis facility in West Michigan focused on development and programming for existing tennis enthusiasts of all ages and levels, while providing the underserved and underprivileged of our community the programming, opportunity and vehicle to better their position through life-long racquet sports.
The foundation of our community’s tennis culture must be rooted in community programming and an accessible facility; the success of one is dependent upon the other.
