National Junior Tennis and Learning Programs
Making a difference in our community through tennis and education
About Our NJTL Programs
As a chapter of the National Junior Tennis and Learning, we offer free and reduced-cost tennis programming for the youth of West Michigan. West Michigan Community Tennis was even awarded the NJTL Midwest Chapter of the Year in 2024 for the great work we get to accomplish in our community.
If you are interested in volunteering in any of these programs, please email Ali.Gallagher@wmctpremier.com
WMCT After School Programs
During the school year, WMCT partners with after-school programs in local schools to provide tennis and mental health education.
We currently have programming at North Godwin Elementary, Campus Elementary, West Godwin Elementary, GR Ford Academic Center, and Godwin Middle School. In these schools, we work with Team 21 and the GRPS Loop programs.
Students participate in one hour of tennis and 30 minutes of mental health education. Our mental health education aspect is provided through our partnership with the Mental Health Foundation of West Michigan and be nice. This program operates in 8-week sessions.
